About ISTE Chapter
This chapter was setup in 1992 and has been instrumental in providing most efficient and cost-effective training programmes to suit the needs of faculty members. This chapter has played the role of catalyst for the whole faculty of the institutions, in motivating them to conduct various seminars, workshops, workshops and short term training programmes.
Since its inception in 1992 with 27 members this professional/body was instrumental in arranging several faculty development programmes. In its long stint over a decade, 15 STTPS each of 2 weeks duration and 36 seminar workshop / expert lectures were conducted including AICTE-ISTE sponsored. This has helped faculty to train themselves in upcoming areas of technology especially in computer hardware & software.
Objectives of K J S.P. – I.S.T.E. Chapter
- To develop effective teachers and educational administrators.
- To improve institutional methods and practices.
- To enhance professional approach ideas and standards.
- To facilitate linkage between technical institution, industry and society.

- Organizing ISTE-STTP’s for diploma teachers and practicing engineers.
- Conducting Seminars / workshop / conferences on topics of relevance to technical education.
- Arranging computer education programmes.
